Invited by Xianyang Vocational and Technical College (XVTC), Mikko Naukkarinen, Vice President ofTampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK),attended the opening ceremony of the 3rd Silk Road Education Cooperation Forum on May 10 where the unveiling ceremony of TAMKShaanxi Training Center of Vocational Teacher Education was held. The forum is hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Government, and co-organized by the Shaanxi Provincial Education Department and almost 20 universities and colleges.
Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) has decided to establish its Shaanxi Training Center of Vocational Teacher Education in XVTC after XVTC President Zhang Cun's visit to TAMK campus and more than a half year of communication and mutual understanding afterwards.On this trip Naukkarinen attended the unveiling ceremony of TAMKShaanxi Training Center of Vocational Teacher Education where Zhang Cun, President of XVTC, accepted the plate.Naukkarinen also visited XVTC campus and had an official talk with XVTC administrators the day after.
It is known that as the newly founded training center, XVTC is going to invite educational experts from TAMK to give lectures for faculty in early July and send teachers to TAMK for professional training.
