On October 30th, a delegation consisting of one teacher and seven students from Fooyin University, Taiwan Province visited XVTC. Liu Congbo, Party Secretary of XVTC attended the welcome meeting, which was hosted by vice president Zhao Yunlong.
During the meeting, Liu Congbo gave a brief introduction to the history of Xianyang city, XVTC’s history, location, development strategy, school scale, majors, talent cultivation, courses, enterprise-school cooperation, overseas exchanges and so on. He also hoped that both parties will strengthen deeper and wider cooperation in academic exchanges, teacher training and other aspects.
Zhao Wei, Director of Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, briefly introduced overseas exchanges of XVTC. Ye Jinlin, Director of Center of International and Cross-Strait Affairs of Fooyin University highly praised all the achievements of XVTC. He also presented situation, history, school performance, professional setup, curriculum planning, and faculty of Fooyin University. And at the same time, he hoped that both parties will work together to realize mutual respect and win-win cooperation. At last, student representatives from both schools made their exchange speeches.
After the meeting, the teacher and students of Fooyin University had a tour of Medical School, the Gymnasium, the National Culture and Art Museum and Simulation Cabin Training Room of XVTC.
At the National Culture and Art Museum, students from Fooyin University personally experienced the production of traditional art such as paper-cutting and Jinggu grain painting, in which they are very interested. In the afternoon, they also happily had a warm discussion and interaction with students of Medical School.
