Hello, my name is Dave and I'm an American teaching at Xianyang Vocational and Technical College. It's my first year working here and I feel quite at home with the professionalism and friendliness exhibited here. Perhaps the biggest example of Xianyang Vocational and Technical College's commitment to excellence would be its handling of safety during the COVID-19 outbreak. I was extremely worried what would happen when I found myself quarantined and couldn't leave the premises, but my colleagues and supervisors assured me that everything would be okay. They made sure that I had enough fresh food and supplies to make me as comfortable as could be. I'm grateful for their care and support during such troubling times. The school also made sure to take care of the international students and had them follow safety procedures that kept them out of danger. I feel that being at Xianyang Vocational and Technical College during the outbreak was one of the safest places that I could be.
