On August 10th,Xianyang Vocational and Technical College, Dar Es Salaam Institute of Technology (Tanzania) and Sunmaker Oil & Gas Training Institute (Uganda) held a tripartite meeting online.
Wei Wenping, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Dean of International Education Institute, Ren Jiawei, Deputy Dean of Electronic Information Institute and other staff members from XVTC, Dr. Finian Mwalongo, Head of Computer Studies Department, Dr. Gaudence Tesha, Head of Academics of Department of Computer Studies and etc. in DIT, as well as Duan Xiaofei, Deputy Principal and etc. of Sunmaker attended the meeting.
The three parties briefed the background and progress of the cooperation program. They reached an agreement on big data as the major for the program, which will offer four-year university courses for high school graduates. The three institutes also agreed to implement the project as soon as possible.
